Forest Trends in partnership with the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Conservation Trust held 2 workshops in Uganda in April 2011.  These workshops, funded by UNEP-GEF through the Ugandan National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) and USAID were meant to train private sector, government and community organizations on the concepts necessary to develop payments for ecosystem service schemes across the country.
